Check a company in the Norwegian business register
Norway, being one of the most open countries regarding public information, offers a large variety of company data.
VATify.eu verifies Norwegian companies in the official business register (Brønnøysundregistrene). The scope of available data expands from basics like company status, VAT ID and valid VAT rates, title and address, to data on the number of employees and the date of the last filed tax report. Available data may vary, depending on what a particular company actually reports.
Even though Norway is part of the Schengen Area, it is not part of the EU and data on Norwegian companies is not available on VIES. Use VATify.eu to verify Norwegian VAT IDs:
Notification samples
When a change with a particular company is noted, a notification with registered changes will be sent to you. Once per week, VATify.eu sends a status report(XLSX file) with all available data on companies you are tracking.
Unique company identifier
A registration number (Organisasjonsnummer) is issued to all companies upon formation and registration in the official business register. This registration number is also used for tax identification. If a company is registered in the VAT register, their VAT ID is the same as the registration number, with added "MVA" at the end.
VATify.eu checks companies using the registration number in the official business register. Here is a list of valid number formats:
